设计学院Design Fab Lab的UR10机器人已经开发出包括塑性材料(颗粒和线圈)3D打印,泡沫热线切割,铣削,夹爪码垛等应用功能。
塑性材料(颗粒和线圈) 3D打印工具头信息:
喷嘴直径选项 : 1, 2, 3, 4mm
适用材料: PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU颗粒和线圈
工作原理:塑料颗粒和线圈需要预先烘干,然后放置进打印工具头中预先加热融化,再由集成螺杆挤出沉积成型,同时配合机械臂运动,运行垂向分层轨迹,可以实现大尺度、高复杂度工业应用。
应用场景:定制化景观装置、轻质混凝土模板等等
泡沫热线切割工具头信息:
框架尺寸: 580mm * 440mm(热线可切割长度为55mm)
适用材料:XPS/EPS泡沫
工作原理:加热金属丝接触泡沫时产生局部高温,使泡沫材料迅速熔融或升华,形成切割缝。再配合机械臂协同工作,通过编程或离线路径规划,控制热线在三维空间中的运动轨迹,比如直线/曲线/螺旋线等等。
应用场景:切割泡沫制作雕塑(建筑景观模型);快速实现曲面造型(如穹顶、波浪形墙体)
铣削工具头信息:
适用材料:XPS/EPS泡沫,木材
工作原理:铣刀高速旋转,再配合机械臂协同工作,通过编程或离线路径规划,控制刀具在三维空间中的运动轨迹进行铣削切割。
应用场景:大型雕塑的曲面雕刻、木质结构异形开槽
夹爪工具头信息:
工作原理:夹爪可以预设开口大小,变换速度和力度大小,然后编程夹取规定位置的物体,再配合机械臂协同工作,通过路径规划,按照在三维空间中的运动轨迹进行堆叠码垛
应用场景:异性砖墙面的堆叠码垛,新型智能装配

The UR10 robotic system at the Design Fab Lab has been developed with versatile fabrication capabilities, including 3D printing (pellets/filament), hot-wire foam cutting, milling, gripper-based palletizing, and vertical rail integration.
1. Plastic 3D Printing Accessory (Pellets & Filament)
Nozzle Diameters: 1, 2, 3, 4mm
Materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU pellets or filament coils
Principle: Pre-dried materials are melted in the heated print head and extruded via an integrated screw mechanism. The robotic arm executes vertical layered deposition for large-scale, geometrically complex industrial applications.
Applications: Custom landscape installations, lightweight concrete formwork.
2. Hot-Wire Foam Cutting Accessory
Frame: 580mm × 440mm (cutting wire length: 550mm)
Materials: XPS/EPS foam
Principle: A heated metal wire melts/sublimates foam to create precise cuts. Programmed robotic arm paths enable 3D trajectory control (linear/curved/spiral).
Applications: Sculpture fabrication (architectural models), rapid curved-surface prototyping (e.g., domes, undulating walls).
3. Milling Accessory
Materials: XPS/EPS foam, wood
Principle: High-speed rotary milling cutter removes material along programmed 3D paths via robotic arm coordination.
Applications: Curved-surface carving for large sculptures, custom grooves in wooden structures.
4. Adaptive Gripper Accessory
Principle: Programmable grip width, speed, and force for object pickup. Integrated path planning enables 3D trajectory stacking.
Applications: Stacking irregular-shaped bricks, smart modular assembly systems.
