Sample Preparation
1. The concentration of sample is best controlled within 100ppm, 10ppm is recommended to start your analysis.
2. Samples must be clear and transparent, and filtered if necessary.
3. The configuration of the mobile phase should not contain non-volatile substances, such as hydrochloric acid, trifluoroacetic acid, and the salts except ammonium salts. If you are not sure whether your mobile phase can enter the instrument, you can contact the administrator.
4. The mobile phase must be sonicated until no bubbles before use.
5. The mobile phase which contains salt must be filtered with a 0.22μm filter membrane.
LC part
1. When changing the mobile phase, you need to purge first. Binary Pump-pump -purge
2. It is best to bring your own chromatographic column. Otherwise, check the chromatographic column before taking the sample, which is marked whether it is suitable for methanol system or acetonitrile system. If it is another system, please inform the administrator in advance.
3. Check the instrument logbook before testing the sample. If the mobile phase is different, it is best for the instrument to equilibrate with your own mobile phase for more than 10 minutes before injecting the sample.
4. Please switch to the pure organic phase and aqueous phase mode after using the instrument and flush the system and column with a high proportion of organic phase.
Q-TOF part
1. Tuning is required before the first use every day, and the valve of the reference solution needs to be turned off during tuning. The first operation needs to contact the administrator for training.
2. Please do not change the layout of the software.
The Agilent 6530 Accurate-Mass Q-TOF LC/MS system delivers exceptional MS and MS/MS analyses for applications that demand the highest accurate-mass measurements, without compromising sensitivity and speed. Integration of Agilent Jet Stream Thermal Focusing technology ensures the highest level of sensitivity for your most challenging samples. Powerful new data mining tools facilitate profi ling, characteriza-tion, identifi cation and quantifi cation of compounds in complex mixtures. These performance characteristics enable the 6530 Q-TOF system to support demand-ing applications such as metabolomics, impurity testing, product degradation studies, food safety, and environmental analyses.
