The Q Exactive Plus system is applicable across a range of protein analysis domains, from antibody characterisation to cell- or tissue-based proteomics, to targeted protein quantification or DIA-based protein quantification. Beyond delivering enhanced sensitivity and precision in protein identification applications, it also achieves the high sensitivity required for targeted protein quantification. Its high-resolution accurate mass data offers exceptional confidence and can be utilised for isotope resolution. In small molecule metabolite research applications, it enables non-targeted high-throughput, high-confidence qualitative identification and high-throughput quantitative analysis of small molecule metabolites. By investigating changes in the types and quantities of small molecule metabolites, it assists in understanding their variations and impacts within key life science processes, as well as in lipidomics research and other fields.
