Ion Source: The sample plate is designed according to industrial standards for microtiter plates, capable of accommodating 384 samples, with a maximum capacity of 1536 samples. The sample target utilizes AnchorChip™ technology, which provides enhanced sensitivity and desalting functions on the target, increasing sensitivity by 10 to 100 times compared to standard sample plates. The ionization area of the ion source features a high-sensitivity, gridless design. It employs non-vertical excitation of samples, axially extracting ions to ensure they reach the detector via a simple and direct path, thereby improving ion transmission efficiency and enhancing detection sensitivity.

Flight Tube: The flight tube is a non-axis, gridless V-shaped design. It features a fast response, high-sensitivity FlashDetector. A second-order reflector achieves dual focusing (both time and space focusing).

Laser: The system uses a patented new smartbeam™ long-life solid-state laser, with laser pulse counts exceeding 3.5 × 10^9 pulses. The laser frequency can be adjusted via software settings, ranging from 1 to 2000 Hz in MS mode (both linear and reflective modes). In TOF/TOF-MS/MS mode, the laser frequency can be adjusted from 1 to 1000 Hz. The wavelength is 355 nm.

Flight Distance: The effective flight distance in linear mode is 1.82 meters, while in reflective mode, it is 3.2 meters.

Operating Modes: The system supports linear, reflective, and TOF/TOF modes. All modes provide the capability for both positive and negative ion detection. Various detection mode transitions and positive/negative ion detection mode transitions are controlled by a computer.
