The ChemiDoc MP imaging system is a full-feature instrument for gel or western blot imaging. It is designed to address multiplex fluorescent western blotting, chemiluminescence detection, and general gel documentation applications.
Its features are based on CCD high-resolution, high-sensitivity detection technology, and modular options to accommodate a wide range of samples and support multiple detection methods. The system is controlled by Image Lab™ software to optimize performance for fast, integrated, and automated image capture and analysis of various samples.

Application Scope:
(1) The imaging instrument can meet the imaging requirements of the vast majority of samples and supports multiple detection methods (including multiplex fluorescent Western blot). It is typically used in conjunction with protein and DNA electrophoresis, as well as Western blot experiments. It can be utilized for fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and colorimetric imaging, yielding reproducible quantitative results.
(2) Stain-free technology — Under UV excitation, the fluorescent dye within the stain-free gel marks proteins, reducing the 2-hour Coomassie brilliant blue staining step to a 5-minute stain-free imaging process.
(3) Detection of phosphorylated proteins and their total proteins: The multicolor fluorescence method employs different fluorescent labels to distinguish between phosphorylated and total proteins (phosphorylated + non-phosphorylated), eliminating the need for additional antibody stripping procedures and ensuring stable and reliable results.
(4) In-Cell Western technology is commonly used in high-throughput drug screening. Fluorescent dye-labeled antibodies enable in situ protein expression analysis of target proteins in cells on 96/384-well culture plates. By omitting cell lysis, gel electrophoresis, and blotting steps, and allowing direct detection of protein expression on 96/384-well plates, it facilitates more convenient protein expression analysis.
(5) Fluorescence imaging of protein antibody microarrays. The fundamental principle involves immobilizing various proteins in an ordered manner onto carriers such as glass slides to create detection microarrays. Subsequently, specific fluorescently labeled antibodies are incubated with the microarrays, and unbound components are washed away. Fluorescence intensity at each point on the microarray is then measured using a fluorescence scanner or laser confocal scanning technology. Analyzing the fluorescence intensity reveals the interactions between proteins, thereby achieving the purpose of determining various protein functions. The ChemiDoc MP system can replace fluorescence scanners or confocal microscopes in this application for fluorescence detection of protein antibody microarrays.
(6) Fluorescence imaging of tissue sections

(2)免染技术 — 紫外激发下,免染胶内的荧光染料标记蛋白使得 2 小时的考马斯亮蓝染色步骤缩短为5分钟的免染成像步骤。
(3)磷酸化蛋白及其总蛋白的检测,多色荧光方法可以使用不同的荧光标记来区分磷酸化蛋白及总蛋白(磷酸化+非磷酸化),而不需要额外的抗体剥离过程,保证了结果的稳定可靠。
(4)In-Cell Western技术,常用在药物的高通量筛选中,荧光染料标记的抗体在96/384孔培养板的细胞上原位对目标蛋白进行蛋白表达分析。因省去了细胞裂解、跑胶、转印等环节,又可直接在96/384孔板上直接检测蛋白的表达,所以可以实现更方便的蛋白表达检测。
(5)蛋白抗体芯片荧光成像。其基本原理是将各种蛋白质有序地固定于载玻片等载体上成为检测用的芯片,然后,用标记了特定荧光抗体与芯片进行孵育作用,并洗去芯片上未能结合的成分,再利用荧光扫描仪或激光共聚焦扫描技术,测定芯片上各点的荧光强度,通过荧光强度分析蛋白质与蛋白质之间相互作用的关系,由此达到测定各种蛋白质功能的目的。ChemiDoc MP系统在此应用中可取代荧光扫描仪或共聚焦显微镜,用于蛋白抗体芯片的荧光检测。
