The Avanti JXN series is a refrigerated centrifuge that generates centrifugal forces required for a wide variety of applications. Together with the Beckman Coulter rotors designed for use in this centrifuge, applications include:
1. Routine processing such as sample preparations, pelleting, extractions, purifications, concentrations, phase separations, and spin column and spin filter centrifugations.
2. Rapid sedimentation of protein precipitates, large particles, and cell debris.
3. Separation of blood cells and cellular components.
4. Pelleting of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
5. Virus isolation.
6. Bacteriophage isolation.
