主要功能及特色

Hydrogel-based microneedles versus conventional metal or silicon needles offer decisive advantages:
1. High drug loading plus on-demand, zero-order release profiles.
2. Matrix made from biomedical-grade polymers—biocompatible and unlikely to leave splinters that could damage skin.
3. Cross-linked hydrogels swell subcutaneously but do not dissolve, sustaining drug release for longer periods.

Yet fabricating hydrogel microneedles is fraught with challenges: high-viscosity solutions that trap air, needle shrinkage, uneven substrates, irregular tip geometry and poor tip strength. To streamline production, EFL has packaged a complete “microneedle toolbox” covering four critical steps—material selection, mold matching, tip filling and drying/release.
1. Material selection:
EFL supplies both photocurable and non-photocurable biomedical polymers optimized for microneedle processing.
2. Mold matching:
Drawing on long-term customer feedback, EFL has refined the most frequently requested microneedle mold geometries.
3. Tip filling:
3.1. Option1: Vacuum degassing (EFL-VDM-001 vacuum chamber);
3.2. Option2: Vacuum-assisted liquid filling with the EFL-VLF100 microneedle filling station.
4. Drying & demolding:
Drying conditions dictate final tip shape, drug stability and patch flatness. EFL’s Microneedle Drying Kit (EFL-VLF-006) isolates patches from ambient airflow and humidity, enabling controlled drying at low, room or elevated temperature to yield uniform, defect-free microneedle arrays.

基于水凝胶等生物材料的微针相比传统金属、硅基微针具有以下显著优势:

然而,水凝胶基微针的制备也面临多重挑战。例如:溶液黏度高,注液除泡难度大、微针易皱缩、衬底不平整、针形不规整、针尖强度低等。为了解决上述问题,让微针制备更高效,EFL总结并推出微针制备整套解决方案,涉及如下关键环节:材料选择、模具适配、针尖填充、干燥脱模。
1、材料选择:
EFL提供用于制备微针的光固化生物材料和非光固化生物材料。
2、模具适配:
根据EFL技术支持团队与用户的长期沟通反馈,EFL团队优化了常用规格的微针模具。
3、针尖填充:
3.1、方案一:真空除泡工艺(适配真空除泡装置EFL-VDM-001);
3.2、方案二:真空注液工艺(适配微针注液装置EFL-VLF100)。
4、干燥脱模:
微针干燥过程对其形貌及性能有很大影响,条件控制不当可能造成针尖形变、衬底与针尖分离、衬底空壳、衬底皱缩不平、药物失活等问题。EFL基于长期工艺研究经验推出适配不同工艺条件的微针干燥套装(EFL-VLF-006),该套装不受外界气流和湿度干扰,可在低温、室温及高温条件下完成微针干燥,获得规整微针贴片。
