This instrument can be used for the determination of optically active liquids and solutions with a transmittance above 1/10,000. It is primarily employed in the analysis of pharmaceuticals such as antibiotics, vitamins, and glucose, as well as in pharmacological research on traditional Chinese medicines. Additionally, it finds applications in the component analysis of agricultural antibiotics, agricultural hormones, microbial pesticides, and agricultural products; in the process control and finished product inspection of sugar, monosodium glutamate (MSG), soy sauce production, and in the determination of sugar content in foods; in the analysis of mineral oils and the monitoring of petroleum fermentation processes; in the analysis of essential oils; and in clinical diabetes analysis in hospitals.
