On the basis of the excellent performance of the micrOTOF series mass spectrometer, the resolution of the micrOTOF-Q II mass spectrometer is even as high as 20,000 FWHM, and it also has excellent mass accuracy for fragment ions and a flexible MS/MS automatic acquisition strategy based on data results. Therefore, the application field of micrOTOF-Q II has been further expanded to de novo sequencing of unknown peptides, including high-confidence identification of post-translational modifications. In addition to proteomics, micrOTOF-Q II also has high-confidence results for the structural analysis of small molecule compounds.
