We are pleased to announce the launch of LIMS 3.0, the updated version of our Laboratory Information Management System. This upgrade introduces powerful new features designed to enhance your user experience while maintaining consistent workflows to minimize the time needed to familiarize yourself with the new version. With LIMS 3.0, you can now:

·         Browse all high-value or most frequently used equipment on campus using flexible criteria;

·         Start your session before your reservation time, subject to equipment availability;

·         Get clear instructions on your reservation eligibility;

Additionally, we introduced a credit management module to make booking and equipment management more efficient and fairer. There are others features for you to explore!

To deploy this new version, the system will undergo a scheduled upgrade and will be unavailable for 11 hours, from 8:30 p.m. on February 5 to 7:30 a.m. on February 6, 2026 (Beijing Time). During this period, access to LIMS and LIMS controllers will be temporarily suspended.

To minimize disruption:
If you require equipment access during the maintenance window, please coordinate with the relevant equipment administrator before 5:00 p.m. on February 5 to log in or use card access in advance. Equipment already logged in will not be affected by the upgrade.

大家好！我们很高兴地宣布，大型仪器共享管理系统（LIMS）将于近期正式升级至全新的3.0版本。此次升级聚焦于提升您的使用体验，在延续您已熟悉的核心操作流程的同时，引入了多项便捷高效的新功能。

升级完成后，您将体验到以下主要改进：

• ·        智能设备查找：支持按多种条件灵活筛选，助您快速定位校园内的高价值或常用设备；

• ·        预约弹性使用：在设备未被占用的情况下，可于预约时间前提早开始使用；

• ·        预约状态透明化：系统将清晰展示您的预约资格与使用权限。

本次升级还新增了信用积分管理模块，旨在进一步优化设备预约流程，促进资源公平、高效利用。更多实用功能期待您亲自探索！

为保障系统平稳升级，LIMS平台将暂停服务11小时，具体安排如下：

• 升级时间：2026年2月5日（周四）20:30 — 2月6日（周五）07:30（北京时间）

• 影响范围：升级期间将无法访问LIMS系统及通过该系统控制设备。

为尽量减少对大家实验安排的影响，建议您：

• 若需在系统升级时段使用设备，请于2月5日17:00前联系相关设备管理员，提前完成登录或刷卡授权；

• 升级前已处于运行状态的设备可继续使用，不受系统中断影响。
